Round 17 of 2008 AFG Awards Announced
On Friday, $16.4 million in Assistance to Firefighter Grants (AFG) was awarded to 191 fire departments within the United States.
This was the seventeenth round of FY '08 grants awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The goal of the AFG program is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and non-affiliated emergency medical services organizations.
