HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio --

Four people were forced out of their burning home early Wednesday morning.

The fire happened around 4:30 a.m. on Pegwood Court.

Fire officials said one of the four adults was awake watching some television when the electricity started to flicker. It was at this point that the man found flames burning in a chimney and flue area of a wood-burning stove.

The man then awakened the rest of the adults in the house and called for help.

The four people managed to make it out without injury.

Firefighters said the fire may have been burning for a while before being noticed. They said the fire was mostly contained to the living room; however, other parts of the house suffered smoke and water damage.
