ROWAN CO., N.C. --
Detectives were back out at the site taking pictures and searching for more evidence after a fire destroyed a club house and damaged another building along Scout Road in Rowan County.
According to fire investigators, the smaller building was set first but just minutes after putting that fire out firefighters were called right back.
Jesse Rogers lives in the neighborhood, "It's just awful they would set a fire and watch them put it out then set another fire and watch them then come back and set another fire, it's terrible."
Detectives charged Jeremy Blackwell, Robert Nichols, Justin Merritt and a juvenile with setting the fires.
The suspects were found inside a camper nearby after someone tipped off investigators saying the foursome had been drinking and then set fire to the house.
Julie Kennemore lives near the buildings that burned. It didn't have to happen, its just ridiculous.
Detectives say they also found stolen goods in the camper and charged two of them with a burglary.
"It's pretty shocking but you get young people out here who are doing things like this. I'm young myself and it gives many of us a bad reputation, Rogers said.
The suspects are still in the Rowan County jail after making their first appearance before a judge.
Detectives say one of the suspects admitted they set the fires.
Nichols and Blackwell are charged with arson, breaking and entering and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Merritt is not charged with the break-ins.
