HOUSTON --
A fire broke out inside a vacant southwest Houston apartment on Friday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Houston firefighters fought the flames at the apartment on Mullins Drive near Jessamine Street at about 5:30 a.m.
The fire was extinguished quickly and did not damage neighboring units.
The fire happened in the same neighborhood where several fires have recently been set on Friday mornings. Investigators have not said if this fire has any connection to the others.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
