Horses Killed in California Fire

About a dozen horses were killed.

LINCOLN, Calif. --

About a dozen horses were killed early Friday when a fire ripped through a training facility in Lincoln, fire officials said.

The blaze occurred at about 3 a.m. on McCourtney Road.

Firefighters said a barn on the property was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
