YORK COUNTY, Pa. --

Fire destroyed a nearly 150-year-old historic farmhouse near Dillsburg, York County.

The fire broke out Wednesday afternoon in the home on Orebank Road.

The 100 firefighters battling the blaze had to get out of the home after about 20 minutes because the floor was giving way.

A Mechanicsburg dentist owns the farmhouse, which had been remodeled.
