A veteran firefighter who helped save four people from a burning building in Lower Manhattan says he was just doing his job.

The fire happened Wednesday night on Church Street.

Two women and two children were trapped on the third floor until firefighter Thomas Maresca helped pull them to safety.

But Maresca says he doesn't consider himself a hero.
