Jackson Fire Chief Vernon Hughes says he's investigating a controversial video tape that recently surfaced.
He believes one of the men on the tape making fun of black recruits is his Assistant Fire Chief Todd Chandler.
On the tape, a man identified by many as Chandler is seen making fun of black recruits. Chief Hughes says he met with Chandler Thursday morning and plans to meet with Mayor Frank Melton.
When we first obtained the tape earlier this week, Chandler denied it was him. He's since hired an attorney.
