HOUSTON --
Five firefighters were hurt while they battled flames at a southeast Houston home, KPRC Local 2 reported.
The fire broke out on Reed Road near Southbank Street at about 5 p.m. Sunday.
Officials said three firefighters were shocked by a downed power line. They were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
One firefighter suffered burns on his hands and was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment. Another firefighter suffered burns on his back and was treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
