ALEXANDRIA, Ind. --

A 4-year-old boy died Monday because of injuries suffered in a fire that also killed his mother and 2-year-old brother and left his father seriously injured.

Brisyn Tracey, 4, was preceded in death by his mother, Erin Williams, 27, who also died Monday, and brother, Bryden Tracey, 2, who was pronounced dead shortly after firefighters pulled his body from the home Sunday morning.

A makeshift memorial sprang up Monday at the home. It's heartrending news in the small community of Alexandria -- even for those who didn't know the family personally, 6News' Tanya Spencer reported.

"We've lost our own little one, so we kind of know what the family is going through," said Cherlyn Savage. "My heart goes out to them."

A 911 call made by one of two men who noticed the fire and tried to rescue the victims was released Monday.

"There's a kid in here. There's a kid in the house," the caller said. "There's a baby in the house. We're going to try to knock the door in. There's a baby screaming."

The men, Gary Wisler and Darryl Adams, broke the door down but the heat was too intense for them to get inside.

Stuffed bears, flowers, thoughts and prayers are all neighbors have to offer.

The children's father, Barry Tracey, 27, was upgraded Monday from critical to serious condition at Wishard Memorial Hospital's intensive care unit.

The couple's 17-day-old daughter was listed in stable condition.

Investigators were working to determine what sparked the blaze, but said they believe it was accidental.
