WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ohio --
Two firefighters were injured while fighting a fire at a Wayne Township home.
The fire broke out Monday evening at a home in the 4900 block of Thomas Road.
Firefighters said that the home had actually caught fire earlier and that it rekindled.
The injured firefighters were hurt when the ladder they were on slipped as the wall it was leaning against gave way.
There is no word on the extent of their injuries.
The house is considered a total loss. WLWT reporters said that the entire back end of the home is gone.
News 5 has a crew on the scene and will update the story as the information becomes available.
