Milwaukee Firefighters Rescue Family from Blaze
MILWAUKEE --
Firefighters in Milwaukee rescued a family from their burning apartment Thursday morning.
A mother and her three small children were trapped in a bedroom and couldn't see the front door to escape the fire. The children are 3, 5 and 7 years old.
Subzero temperatures froze water inside the hoses, working against firefighters. They were able to get the four out through a window.
Eight other families were evacuated from the apartment building.
