EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio --
A burning home collapsed on Tuesday.
Firefighters were battling the blaze on Delmont Avenue between Euclid and Superior avenues in East Cleveland.
They ran from the fire as the roof and walls started coming down. The fire started at about 5:30 a.m.
Officials said firefighters had trouble getting the fire under control because two fire hydrants in the area weren't working.
East Cleveland police are asking the motorists stay away from the area. Traffic is being diverted at Euclid and Superior avenues and at Euclid and Lakeview avenues.
