Chiles Burn in New Mexico

    Firefighters blame hot embers that fell into a roaster for a fire at a Las Cruces chile processing plant.

    Firefighters responded to Con-Agra foods Inc. shortly 3 p.m. Monday afternoon. They contained the fire to just the roasters.

    "The fire department is actually just cleaning the smoke out with some large fans and everything is fine," said Dan Trujillo from Las Cruses Police Department.

    Firefighters evacuated all the employees from the plant and no injuries were reported.
