MILTON, Mass. --
Fire crews responded to the scene of a four-alarm fire at a large Victorian mansion in Milton early Tuesday morning.
The blaze at 685 Brush Hill Road could be seen for some distance, with black smoke billowing into the sky. The posh neighborhood is just north of the Curry College campus.
Early reports did not indicate whether anyone was at risk in the fire or whether there were any injuries. It was not clear what sparked the blaze.
Some witnesses said the home has been vacant and up for sale for some time. They said the home is known as the Boyle Mansion.
