CHARLOTTE, N.C. --
Firefighters are investigating what caused a two-alarm fire at a south Charlotte condo complex early Saturday morning.
The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. at the Aspen Peak Condos off of North Wind Place, that's near Sharon Road West.
It took the Charlotte Fire Department about an hour to get the flames under control. During the fire, firefighters performed a search and rescue mission for people living in the condos.
Four units in the complex were destroyed by the fire. There were no reported injuries, but several people have been displaced because of the fire. The Red Cross in Charlotte was on the scene helping those effected by the fire.
The people who were living in the two most damaged units are working with firefighters to figure out the cause of the fire.
