GASTON, Ind. --

Firefighters had gotten a fire at a plant in Delaware County under control by Friday afternoon, officials said.

Several buildings at G and G Peppers, a jalapeno pepper processing plant near County Road 450 North and County Road 750 West in Gaston, caught fire just after 4 a.m.

Several people reported hearing explosions and fire officials said propane and fertilizers fueled the flames.

Two people, including a firefighter were transported to Ball Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The blaze was brought under control by mid-morning, officials said. In all, seven fire departments responded to the fire.
