LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. --

A fire at a nursing home in Lancaster County Thursday night forced a brief relocation of some residents.

The fire started at about 8:30 p.m. in a dryer on the fifth floor of Willow Valley Manor.

"When we first got in, we had laundry in the dryer itself, extended up the back wall," said Willow Street Fire Chief David Reese. "It looked like it was contained to the dryer unit."

The fire caused minor damage.

No one was hurt.
