CANTON, Ohio --

Canton firefighters are looking into a series of suspicious fires.

Three vacant homes caught fire within 14 hours of each other on Saturday.

The first call came at 4:45 a.m. for a blaze on Highland Road. The next call was at 12:30 p.m. for a fire on Fourth Street NE and the third fire was at 6 p.m. at Third Street SE.

All of the homes were two-and-a-half-story, wood-frame structures. Two of the homes were destroyed.

Damage was estimated at about $30,000.

Fire officials believe they may have been intentionally set. They are investigating.

No one has been arrested.
