Omaha Firefighter Injured on Job

An Omaha firefighter was injured while responding to an accident and car fire Wednesday night near 90th adn Pacific streets.

OMAHA, Neb. --

An Omaha firefighter was injured while responding to an accident and car fire Wednesday night near 90th adn Pacific streets.

The fire department isn't releasing how he was hurt, but Captain Jim Gentile told KETV NewsWatch 7 the firefighter wasn't injured in the crash.

The firefighter was taken to Creighton University Medical Center where he was treated and released.
