Pennsylvania Tanker Overturns Enroute to Call

An Upper Black Eddy, Penn. fire apparatus overturned while responding to a mutual aid call on April 13.

An Upper Black Eddy, Penn. fire apparatus overturned while responding to a mutual aid call on April 13, according to the fire company's Web site.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., Tanker 47 flipped as its driver attempted to avoid a vehicle stopped in the road.

The truck was damaged in the rollover, but no injuries were reported.

The fire company is currently going through the insurance process and hopes to soon have an operational apparatus.
