BETHEL PARK, Pa. --
Flames shot from the roof of a Bethel Park home that belonged to a fire chief on Thursday afternoon.
The two-alarm fire broke out around 12:15 p.m. along Logan Road.
Heavy smoke could be seen billowing from the structure.
Officials said everyone made it out of the home safely, but the family lost two dogs in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Logan Road was closed while crews battled the fire.
