Missouri Blaze Claims Two

    INDEPENDENCE, Mo. --

    Two people died in a house fire Monday morning near South Lowe Road and East Lobb Cemetery Road, KMBC's Michele Rooney reported.

    Firefighters were called to the area at about 6:45 a.m.

    Rooney reported that the victims were found dead inside the house. Their names have not been released.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation. Four firefighters suffered burns when a flash-over occurred as they were trying to battle the blaze. Two were taken to hospitals for treatment.
