Milwaukee Family Jumps from Burning Home

They were caught by neighbors.

MILWAUKEE --

Four people were rescued from their burning home in Milwaukee early Monday morning.

The fire at the home on Clarke and Bremen streets broke out around 2 a.m.

Neighbors saw the flames and encouraged the family inside to jump from the building.

Three people jumped out and were caught by neighbors. The family dog was also rescued.

Firefighters rescued one other person and a cat from the house.

Firefighters say the building is a total loss. The Red Cross and Animal Rescue are helping the family.

Milwaukee Police are still investigating the fire.
