Ex-Pennsylvania Firefighter Sentenced In April Arson

A former firefighter who set a fire that destroyed a Wrightsville hotel has pleaded guilty.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. --

A former firefighter who set a fire that destroyed a Wrightsville hotel has pleaded guilty.

Following the plea, 32-year-old Tommy Drowatzky was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison.

Drowatzky told police he used an aerosol can and a lighter to start the April fire at the Hometown Hotel and then pulled a fire alarm.

The fire caused about $500,000 in damage and left 20 people without a place to stay.
