Woman Dies Of Heart Failure After N.J. Fire Rescue

TEANECK, N.J. --

A woman was rescued from a home that went up in flames in New Jersey Saturday night, but she later died at the hospital of cardiac arrest.

Firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire in Teaneck at about 11:30 p.m. on Sherman Avenue.

Heavy flames shot from the roof of the private residence.

A woman was removed from the building but died at Hackensack Medical Center.

Two other victims in the residence suffered minor injuries.

One firefighter was treated for a head laceration.
