CLEARWATER, Fla. --
More than 75 firefighters worked through the night fighting a massive chemical building fire in Clearwater.
Just after 11 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a quickly-spreading three-alarm fire.
It took them 3 1/2 hours to get the blaze under control.
Chemicals and other hazardous materials stored in the building caused several explosions.
Hazmat teams had to decontaminate several firefighters.
One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for an ankle injury and three others were treated at the scene for fire exhaustion.
