ROCKY RIVER, Ohio --
Fire crews on Wednesday battled a three-alarm blaze that broke out at a Rocky River condo complex.
The fire was at a complex on Pease Drive, which is off of Center Ridge Road just west of Wager Road.
North Olmsted, Westlake, Fairview Park, Avon Lake, Lakewood and Bay Village fire departments assisted Rocky River Fire Department in putting out the flames.
Eight units sustained heavy damage and four units had minor damage. There were no injuries.
The fire appears to have started on the roof, where work was being done. Crews were at lunch when the fire broke out.
The fire moved fast across the roofs because of the wind, fire officials said.
The complex is located next door to an apartment complex that caught fire in 2006.
