CLEARFIELD, Pa. --

The trial of a man accused of ramming a fire company vehicle with his own truck ended Thursday.

Richard Delisle was found not guilty on the most severe charges against him, including several counts of criminal attempt to commit homicide and aggravated assault.

On several other charges, he was convicted.

Those charges include seven counts of recklessly endangering another person, five counts of simple assault, criminal mischief, injure or tamper with fire apparatus, and disorderly conduct.

Delisle is the former manager of Gambler's Raceway, near Clearfield.

On July 1, 2007, Delisle was involved in an argument with several members of the Hyde Volunteer Fire Department.

The argument stemmed from a dispute over payment for the department's services during races.

Delisle told the firefighters he was going to kill them and then got into his pickup truck.

He then rammed the utility truck several times, with several people still inside.
