Florida Warehouse Fire Causes Over $1M Damage

ORANGE PARK, Fla. --

As investigators search for a cause of Sunday night's fire of an Orange Park warehouse, officials estimate damages at between $1 million and $2 million.

It took more than two hours for 45 firefighters from Orange Park, Clay County and Jacksonville to put out the fire at the 22,000-square-foot warehouse.

Firefighters said there was a lot of fuel in the building, which houses three businesses: Hawk Head Automotive, a storage facility for Annie Oakley's Oak Furniture and a Sprint PCS transmitting site.

"We do see some patterns in the back that are indicatory that the fire could have started in the back part of the structure and spread forward, which is our working theory at the moment," said State Fire Marshal Investigator Robby Stephens.

Arson has not been ruled out as a cause.
