Firefighter Rescued From Roof Of New York Fire

The firefighter became trapped on the roof.

NEW YORK --

A New York City firefighter had to be rescued from the roof of a fire in the Bronx on Thursday.

The 3-alarm fire broke out shortly before 12:50 p.m. on Westchester Ave. in the Pelham Bay neighborhood of the Bronx.

The firefighter became trapped on the roof. Another firefighter was able to rescue him from the roof from a ladder.

No injuries have been reported.
