Pennsylvania Firefighter Overcome by Heat

It took several hours to extinguish the three-alarm fire.

BETHEL PARK, Pa. --

Firefighters were at the scene of a house fire on Hull Street in Bethel Park Wednesday.

One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for heat exhaustion and smoke inhalation.

It took officials several hours to put out the three-alarm blaze.

A neighbor told Channel 11 that the house sustained extensive damage.

The firefighters condition is not yet known.

Roads in the area have been blocked off.
