Investigators Suspect Arson In Texas Church Fire

The flames damaged the Bethesda Baptist Church in Saginaw around 3:30 a.m.

SAGINAW, Texas --

Investigators said a church fire in Saginaw early Saturday morning is possibly a case of arson.

The flames damaged the Bethesda Baptist Church on Anderson Street around 3:30 a.m., officials said. Most of the damage was in the church's main sanctuary.

Firefighters said they found a side door open when arrived on the scene.

There were no injuries reported.
