A firefighter was injured while battling a house fire on the city's east side early Friday morning.
Crews arrived at the home new New York Street and Bradley Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.
Fire officials said the injured firefighter fell from a ladder that had been leaning against the roof, which collapsed.
The firefighter was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
About $40,000 in damage was done to the vacant home. Fire officials suspect arson.
