March 20, 2006
Ten-year-old girl and older sister got out of the house without being injured.

Fire investigators say that two sisters learned the hard way that children shouldn't play with matches.

Firefighters said that on Sunday, Angeline Louis Jean, 10, was playing with matches when she accidentally set fire to the home, located at 501 N.E. 58th St. At the time of the fire, she was home alone with her 12-year-old sister, though police said that adult relatives were nearby. Both girls got out of the house without being injured.

The adults rushed to the home, but they were unable to stop the fire. The home was destroyed by the blaze.
