Burris Steps Down from FEMA

The former chief operating officer at the U.S. Fire Administration said he is leaving with mixed feelings.

Ken Burris, former chief operating officer at the U.S. Fire Administration, who moved on to be a FEMA Regional Director, has resigned. Writing to his co-workers Wednesday, he said his decision, which comes just three months before hurricane season, comes with "mixed feelings."
