All the workers escaped without injury.

A two-alarm fire roared through a Clayton County Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant overnight leaving it a total loss.

Officials say workers at the KFC on Mt. Zion Road were closing up for the night when they noticed smoke coming from vents.

A passerby also noticed the roof was on fire.

"I saw a small flame coming out of a window, but within two minutes the whole ceiling was engulfed," said witness Robert Payne.

All of the restaurant workers escaped unharmed.

Firefighters from Morrow called for help from the Clayton County and Forest Park fire departments.

Investigators are still trying to pin down the cause of the blaze.
