--
A local fire chief was arraigned Thursday on two counts of rape.
Bradley Kelley, 31, Cadiz fire chief, was arrested after a weeklong investigation by the Harrison County Sheriff's Department and Cadiz police.
Kelley is accused of raping two women, one in early October and another in early April.
One victim told police Kelley threatened her with a knife.
Kelley's arrest was not the first time he has faced sex-related charges. Kelley is currently serving nine months probation for attempted coercion and attempted telephone harassment after an EMS worker said he sent her explicit text messages.
Thursday, a judge ordered a gag order for the case, meaning no law enforcement officials are permitted to comment.
Kelley remains jailed on a $200,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years on each rape charge.
