Five Ottumwa teens have been arrested and charged Wednesday with first-degree arson in connection with a blaze that destroyed the historic Mars Hill Church.
Dawn Wilson, 15; Angel Long, 15; Stephanie Ybarra, 16; Aidan Miller, 19; and Joshua Johnson, 18, were charged with first-degree arson.
Wilson and Long were taken to the juvenile detention facility in Chariton, a news release said. Ybarra, Miller and Johnson are each being held in the Wapello County Jail on $32,000 bail.
