A house sustained extensive damage.

DERRY, N.H. --

Two firefighters were injured early Monday morning battling flames at a home on Grove St.

Officials haven't said how seriously they were injured.

The family of five who lives inside the house all managed to make it out safely.

A neighbor said his dog woke him up around 4 a.m. and he noticed the flames. Al Gentile said he ran over to the home and knocked on the front door until the family woke up.

The home suffered heavy damage. Firefighters say the blaze likely started outside the house. The exact cause remains under investigation.
