A Dallas duplex exploded in flames overnight, neighbors said.
Fire investigators said that they still don't know what started the fire near Dathe and Jefferies, but that firefighters had their hands full battling the blaze, NBC 5 News reported.
Flames and thick smoke poured from the duplex.
"It exploded and it was like gas went everywhere because the fire went blue and it shot into the sky," said neighbor Charles Gibbs. "About that time, the fire department come down the street and they simmered it out a little bit, but they couldn't get control of it right off."
One firefighter burned his hand, but not seriously, NBC 5 News reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
