Multiple wildfires are burning across Oklahoma, fueled by a windy Wednesday afternoon. One of the blazes has forced Oklahoma City fire officials to order evacuations throughout parts of the city.
The evacuation area is Southeast 119th Street from Air Depot to Sooner Road all the way to Southeast 74th Street, and on Southeast 59th Street between Bryant Avenue and Foster Drive to Southeast 51st Street.
One of the blazes outside the metro is just west of the Grady-Comanche County line, near Fletcher. Officials said several rural fire departments are at the scene of this blaze. Another fire is west of the Twin Lakes area, near El Reno.
