Firefighters from several departments spent more than two hours on the scene of a blaze that erupted at a trucking company late Wednesday night near Nashville, Ill.

Firefighters responded to a report of an explosion at the Norrenberns Truck Service corporate headquarters about 10 p.m. The company is located along Route 127 south of Interstate 64 north of Nashville, Ill.

Authorities had no details on the explosion or three-alarm fire early Thursday morning. But firefighters from at least six fire departments were working to put out the fire.

According to its Web site, the family-owned trucking and distribution company operates several warehouses and distribution centers in the Midwest. Its services include storage of tires and handling of aerosol and hazardous materials. The facility at 17848 Mockingbird Road operates a 1.5 million square-foot warehouse with space for more than 500 tractor-trailers.

A man who answered the company's telephone early Thursday morning declined to comment.

Authorities with the Washington County Sheriff's Department said details would be available early Thursday morning.
