An Everett fire captain was rushed to the hospital after being run down in road rage accident.
It all happened Thursday afternoon along Evergreen Way and 92nd street.
The firefighter was jogging with a crew member when a car pulled in front of the men. The driver was apparently heading into an auto shop.
One of themen reportedly tapped on the trunk of the car to signal to the driver he was running behind the vehicle.
The driver became enraged and chased down the jogger.
The firefighter was struck and flew into the air, before rolling off the hood of the car.
He suffered minor injuries and was treated at a hospital then sent home to recover.
Police say they are looking for a bright blue 1996 to 1998 model year Ford Mustang. It may have damage to the hood and the driver's side of the windshield.
