Firefighters in Kannapolis say a neighbor pulled a 71-year-old woman from her mobile home when it caught fire.

It happened Saturday morning on Gary Avenue. Firefighters say Billie Ann Eagle was still in her home when it caught fire. That's when a neighbor ran in and pulled her out. Eagle was taken to Northeast Medical Center in Concord with non-life threatening injuries.

Fire investigators say a smoldering cigarette started the fire.
