Incredible flames and heavy smoke destroyed a Tarrant County home Thursday evening.

Fort Worth firefighters battled the blaze at 10 Westover Road in Westover Hills for most of Thursday evening.

The 18,000-square-foot house is valued at more than $6 million and sits on 5 acres of land that are worth $900,000.

Contractors who were doing renovations inside the house called emergency officials when the fire broke out.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. No injuries have been reported.
