A propane truck at an asphalt company overflowed and burst into flames Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Firefighters were called to 5201 Brighton Ave. just before 10 a.m.

Fire crews were concerned because there were propane tanks nearby that were exposed to the flames.

"If the vapors come into contact and reach their ignition temperatures, you have a massive explosion," Fire Department spokesman Germaine Friends said.

No one was hurt putting out the fire.
