A four-alarm fire damaged two houses in the 300 block of Sweetbrier Street on Mt. Washington early Saturday.
The fire started inside a vacant house and quickly spread to an occupied house next door. The two people inside that house escaped unharmed.
A Pittsburgh firefighter was injured while battling the blaze, which caused $90,000 in damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
