Ohio Woman Saved after Trying to Rescue Dogs from Blaze

Firefighters rescued a woman Monday from a fire at her Westwood home.

Authorities said the woman went upstairs to save her dogs and became trapped.

The woman had two dogs and her daughter had four, investigators said.

The fire started in the basement of the home on Brackenwoods Lane, authorities said.

Firefighters have not released the womans identity or condition, and no information has been provided about the dogs.

Damage is estimated at $10,000 and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
