Two people survived a deadly house fire that broke out early this morning. 24 year old Keri and Steve LeBouf escaped the fire through a window.
Six people have been confirmed dead in a house fire at 123 Ray Johnson Road in LeBlanc.
Cheif Deputy Grant Willis with the Allen Parish Sheriff's Office says the 911 call came in at about 1:50 this morning. Within 9 minutes, the first responders arrived on the scene. The trailer was fully engulfed in flames. It took volunteer fire departments from the area about 2 and a half hours to put out the fire.
Radio@Firehouse: Six Days, Six Fires, 19 Children and Nine Adults Killed A panel discussionWillis says, there were 8 people living in the trailer, 4 adults and 4 children. Only 2 adults were able to make it out of the home. The kids' ages range from 5 months old to 11 years old.
Authorities say the bodies have been recovered from the house, and the state fire marshall's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
